I just received this and used it for 2 care plans - I have about 5 care plan books and this one is the best - it is set up by NANDA diagnosis as well as another section by illness - it has good patho reasons for the interventions - it's not only useful for writing a care plan but it would be useful to use at clinical rotation.By rural girl
Before buying a Care Plan book, I went to a local bookstore and reviewed about 15 books. This one was by far the best one for me. You can look up by the Nursing Diagnosis Care or a specific disease and find your Care Plan. Listed are Subjective and Objective results, Risk Factors, Desired Outcomes, Nursing Assessment and it's rationale and lastly, therapeutic nursing interventions and their rationale. This book was $56 at B&N, but I was able to get one slightly used for just $26. Well worth the investment. Coincidentally, it is the same book that is recommended by my Nursing Program.By Laura
