I bought the 2009 Edition of this book and used it to self-study for the AP Psychology Exam. Studying from this book, and nothing else (for only a couple weeks leading up to the test), I was able to confidently take the exam and score a 5. This "Cracking The AP..." series of books are very good overall, but I noticed the Psychology one to be particularly well organized and concise. They give you all the information you need and none that you don't. I can attest that this book is all you need to get a 5 on the AP test.By R. Brenner
As a junior in high school, I took a one semester AP Psychology course in the fall which provided a mediocre understanding of the subject. With the amount I learned in class I would get a 2 or possibly a 3 on the AP Exam. I purchased this book a month before the exam and when I was finished with it, I felt like I was an expert at AP Psychology! All the terms I had learned with no meaning I now understood with depth! When it was time to take the actual exam, I felt as if it were only a Medium difficulty test (in comparison to other AP tests I've taken) and was confident I would receive a 4 or 5 on the exam. I ended up getting a 5 on the exam thanks to this book mainly! Nowadays I purchase AP Princeton Review books to just read the material and expand my knowledge on various subjects...way better than teachers could teach them.By Art
Long story short, I highly recommend this book.
