I was a pretty big fan of FA for USMLE Step One but I was underwhelmed by the breadth and accuracy of this title. The only advantage of this to Step Up To Medicine is that it has a few pages of tips for the clerkship like "Don't be a jerk" "show up on time" & "study outside of the hospital". If I could go back in time I'd pass on this purchase and just get Step Up To Medicine because it addresses more diseases, discusses them in more depth, and has more helpful info about how to work up a given problem than this title.

It would be very good to have this book with you on your medical clerkship or floor rotations in internal medicine. This book is also very helpful for the IM shelf. IM covers such a wide variety of medicine, this book organizes it nicely into different subjects, IE Cardio, endocrine, renal, etc.
