Pearson Nurse's Drug Guide 2013 was required for my nursing program. Had I known that other drug books would have been acceptable, I would have purchased a different one. Pearson is not consistent with drug classifications--i.e. sometimes calling a med a "beta blocker" sometimes calling it a "beta adrenergic antagonist" It means the same thing, but the inconsistencies can lead to confusion. The contraindications, cautions, and adverse effects could be more clearly written also.
There are some drug guides, that once purchased, allow access to websites, or downloadable apps of the entire drug guide, that would be a huge bonus!!! Pearson does not offer that.
I will be researching better drug guides, as soon as I find one, I will get rid of this one.
